Just got an email from Nok Air, they are currently offering a promotion whereby all flights to most locations is only 1,111 Baht. Apparently, to purchase this promotion all you need to do is book the ticket via their online website during 11pm to 8am the 7th to 13th January.

The first time I booked with Nok Air, I made a booking online and paid at 7-11 using a booking code I got. Otherwise, you can pay by credit card. I think this is a pretty good promotion for people wanting to book, pay and travel within, say, 2 weeks. Not too bad at all kub.

The following is the remainder of the email I received:

Terms and conditions:

  • Promotional price 1,111 THB Net/ One way/Person.(All inclusive) For Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Surat Thani, Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang and Hat Yai , Chiang Mai-Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai - Udon Thani, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon and Chiang Rai Routes.
  • This special price does not include Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Lanta, Koh lipe, Koh Mook, Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan, Koh Lao Liang, Koh Langawi, Koh Phi Phi and destination operated by Nok Mini.
  • This promotion ticket can be booked via www.nokfanclub.com and www.nokair.com.
  • This promotion ticket can be booked during 7–13 January 2012, 23:00 pm – 08:00 am only.
  • This promotion ticket can be used during 10 January 2012 – 24 March 2012.
  • Reserves for Nok Economy class only.
  • Promotion seats are limited on each flight and may not be available on some flights.
  • Other terms and conditions remain in accordance with Nok Air's general terms and conditions.
  • Nok Air reserves the right to change any terms and conditions of this promotion without prior notice.

Best regards,

Flown with Nok once and will never fly again. Crap service, old planes (ex Thai), long delays (6 hrs), broken baby stroller all in one flight ... after the 6 hrs waiting went to Air Asia stall and flew with them

On the counter point, I've used NOK Air several times. No delays, decent service and great prices. Haven't had lost or damaged bags.

Yes, the planes aren't new, many airlines fly older current technology aircraft, but they appear to be well maintained.

Yes, it's not first class, but my experience is they are a decent low cost carrier.

Anyone can have a bad experience, doesn't mean the whole airline is crap.

Now they are joined with Thai ,no one knows at the Nok Air Desk how i can get my extra free baggage allowance , so i have to pay for it. Apart from that im happy with them.coffee1.gif .

I use Nok Air on quite a regular basis to/from Mae Sot (no promotion for me) in fact it is the only Airline currently serving this route from BKK. Last time I flew from Suv, and there was a delay of about one hour. The sooner they return to D.M. the better for me. To me they are as good as any other low cost carrier, so no complaints.

Same here....have flown with them a couple of times and never more. Very long delays with no information or explanation provided to the waiting passengers at all. Interior of the plane very dated and time worn.
