dddave
A friend visiting Bangkok for a month needs some minor repairs on a somewhat valuable antique watch. I would appreciate suggestions for a reputable repair shop, handy to the BTS/MRT if possible.
rgs2001uk
Brand name of watch would help. There a place right next to the Conrad hotel that does repairs to top of the range watches.
tolsti
I used Cortina in the Erawan building for my Tudor. It was only a small repair and they were able to do it in the shop and an hour later it was ready. The handle a lot of the Major brands in there and I am sure would either be able to assist or to at least point your friend in the right direction. I am going in there next week to send mine off for a service. Edited January 12, 2012 by tolsti

Familyonthemove
I was quoted 10,500 THB for a routine clean and service on an Omega in Siam Paragon Omega shop .... seems a bit steep?
personchester
Brand name of watch would help. There a place right next to the Conrad hotel that does repairs to top of the range watches. I asked the "IWC" company in Switzerland where to service my IWC Pilot watch in BKK, the response was negative, and recommended sending the watch to their factory in Switzerland for a complete service and update. katana
There used to be watch repairers in BKK in Chakrabongse Road at the junction with Khao San Rd. A few years ago they replaced the cracked glass on my watch for 100 Baht; did a really nice job too. Back in the West I was quoted a small fortune for the same job that made it uneconomical to proceed.
