hi...i will be visiting Ayutthaya next week...i've heard rumours about flooding earlier this week... a thai friend said to me waters came around midnight...anyone who can give an update?

no, she's not.appreciate sense of humor.

instead...she told me her family lost everything because of the flooding...i couldnt understant quite correctly..but something happened earlier this week...maybe some parts of Ayutthaya become flooded, dont know...thats why im using this forum.

Highly unlikely as its the dry season now. But you never know. Are you sure she is not milking you for some money.. sorry if this offends you.

this is what i also wonder...although i found some reports about recent flooding...especially industrial area in Ayutthaya.

Recent, as in October, continuing into November.

It seems pretty much impossible to have new flooding, in the middle of the dry season.

She and her family might have found out they did not qualify for the promised amount of flood relief funds which they had been promised.

A cousin of my wife had a relative in that area??? contact her and had the nerve to ask her to approach mey wife to see if I could supply some funds for flood repair/cleanup, or whatever. I need not bore you with my response.

I do have to wonder about some people....
