Its amazing as to long many of us live in Chiang Mai and continue to discover unknown treasures along the way !

My extended family took my wife and I to this Resort yesterday. It is located in Mae Rim a few kilometres away from Chiang Mai. I was stunned. The resort is located a kilometre or so from the Route 107 and is quite serene. It is set in lovely gardens a ajacent to a lagoon, which has rowing boats and pedalos. Various types or rooms both on ground floor and first floor level;. A bakery, a swimming pool and even, on check-in, a coupon to get free cookies from the bakery. Although we did not eat dinner there, we travelled up to a restaurant a few kilometres up the mountain which was located by a waterfall and served both Thai and western food, The breakfast at the resort was good - I had croissants toast, scrambled eggs and cripy bacon for breakfast.

A wonderful get-away from Chiang Mai for the evening or weekend
