Buying A New Honda Pcx In Cm Right Now... Is It Impossible?

Hello...

I have been trying out the Honda PCX and think it's the bike for me. However, when I went to one of the largest Honda dealers in CM (the hypermarket near Robinson Central Airport Plaza) they told me that it was impossible to buy anywhere in Chiang Mai now and that a new model would be available in two months.

Could anyone verify this? Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a new Honda PCX in Chiang Mai right now?

Thanks for any help...

Excellent of them to inform you of the new model. Aren't they taking advance orders for it?

Anyway, if a new model is on the way, why not wait for it? Alternatively you could get a second hand one of the old model.

I would check other dealers. Maybe one has not sold all their stock yet.

I can believe it.. the 150cc PCX is coming so maybe worth waiting for that.

If you really want an "old" PCX right now, check around, chances are one hasn't been sold yet. There are a few different Honda dealers around... Nyom Panich' track record of predicting all of Chiang Mai availability of vehicles is spotty ;)

So I guess the bottom line answer to the OP is- no you're not going to get a new PCX, as it is now the old PCX, and they've all been sold.

Wait and get the new new PCX.

Expect to pay through the nose for the 1st iterations that hit the dealers here. They are not shy about marking new models way up above MSRP.

The OLD PCX 125 they still make and will still make. Many dealers have them in stock as of yesterday so look around, AP Honda told me there are nearly 100 unsold in CM provence and expect to pay about 72,000 Baht. The New PCX 150 looks just the same just different colors. It will not be here until March and at a slightly higher price.

Love all the miss information here

There is no garantee from Honda that the pcx125 will be continued in march.

The new pcx150 will be sold @ 77-82 KB.

It's looks like the will of Honda is to replace the pcx125 by the new pcx150.

If you are looking NOW for a pcx125, you'll have to visit many shops, and prepare to pay 74-80 KB ! For sure if you are buying one today, you will regret it in 1 or 2 months ! ....Or if you are wanting for a 2nd hand pcx125, wait 1-2 months, the prices will dramatically fall: the pcx125 will be obsolete and many people will sell their pcx125 for the new pcx150.

Just for info the Honda Click is now 125cc instead of 110cc as well. For the OP I would definitely give it a few months and wait for the new PCX150 or get a new'ish 2nd hand 'old' PCX125 at that time.

Would be interesting to know where those 100 PCX's are! Not seen one for a while in showrooms.

Anyone know where I can get a good quality second hand PCX in Chiang Mai?

Gracias.
