Just in case readers don't know, there is a small, established Thai Chinese community in Naklua; thus every year, that is the location of the festive opening of the Chinese New Year in the Pattaya area. I read where the festivities will beging Sunday, 22... lion dance and such...but what time???

Does any one know the details of this celebration. It seems every year I miss it not knowing the day or time. I know the day, but not the times of the events.

If so established then why are there no authentic Chinese restaurants in Naklua (or Pattaya for that matter)?
