I am purchasing a condo in pattaya in april I know all about the moneyregulations.

My question however is to buy the condo do I need a long visa or will my 30

days visa be ok? I am not planning on living there so I hope that someone

can answer my question.

Why would you want to be buying a condo in the present climate(poltitcal} in Thailand ?if you are not planning on living here.Surly the agent you are buying the condo from will tell you the visa regulations

You don't need any kind of special visa to buy a condo.

Depending on how much the apt costs, you might find that your condo does enable you to get a better visa in future - given the investment you've made.

Remember you will need to get a TT3 form from the recipient bank - when you send the money in - its Bank Of Thailand regulations.

To the question originator, definitively you do not need any visa to purchase a condo.

To previous reply, can you explain by holding a condo this can facilitate future visa's requests ?
