I have a 7 month old Pajero sport, I think I paid around 1.35m for it maybe a little bit more. I am going back to england soon so would like to sell it, I still have around 700,000 baht outstanding on the finance also.

It has around 25,000km on the clock and just one scratch on the back of the car, how much should I be asking for this, I know in england you lose a lot on your car the moment you drive it out of the showroom but some of the prices I have seen here for some awful cars has shocked me. Also where could I go about selling this car?

Cheers for any replies

Judging by the details provided, it sounds like you have a Pajero Sport 2.5L GT 4WD 5AT, which was 1.335M new.

The current Thanachart Bluebook value for it is 1.1M: http://www.thanachartbluebook.com/detail_car.asp?P1=D77EEA17929084F2A6FB376F40B71F345279C6744E137F0EC3F1C07E07E3A5A3

Note that that's an "insurance" value - i.e. it's what they will payout for total loss - the open market will normally pay more than that.

There's not many used examples available, but prices for equivelant used models appear to run from 1.2M to 1.3M:

http://one2car.com/Search/Search_result.aspx?Brand=B0034&Model=S1242&Year1=2011&Year2=2011

These used car tents will be the quickest/easiest way to sell your car, but the max. they'll give you is 85-90% of the price they're going to resell it at (they have to make a profit afterall).
