Actually, if you notice the farang guy in the photos above taking the photos... he appears to also be holding some kind of clothing item or dress...perhaps the clothing she shed.

My wife, in looking, suggested that the farang guy is probably the husband or similar for the lady farmer... Perhaps that's where she got her ample cleavage from...

I think you need a good Optometrist. The body is just passable and the face well 3/10 and doesn't warrant a2nd glance is the street when she is surrounded by 1,000 of better looking women. I'll pass not up to the required minimum standard.

Precisely what I thought. I have been somewhat surprised at the generally overwhelmingly positive and complimentary response to this ladies physical appearance; which I must point out is by no means offensive, however, I would hardly place her appearance above any benchmark I would go by.

I now understand how so many people say Thailand is full of beautiful ladies when I walk around and observe a significant number more closely resembling something worthy of further study in the hunt for the missing link ! - If thats the bench mark people go by, then yes, this lady is attractive !

I agree with you. I would like to know more about what is the the problem with these price guarantee issue instead of following a discussion about who is more beautiful - a 40 years old Korat farmer "girl" or a Thai TVdara.

Odd enough that some member of the 60+/70+ generation made some compliments about the look of the disgruntled striper farmer, but to argue that these older gentlemen need new glasses or that your taste in woman is 'better' isn't much smarter and not mature.

OK, here we are, 254 posts into a discussion centering around a 40 year old woman purported to be a cassava farmer from Chaiyapum district.

Why did the report end up on Thai Visa "Thai News" and not on the "Farming in Thailand" forum?

Because the dear lady in question removed most of her clothes ( not naked as some reported) and posed in bra and panties in order to tiltillate the viewers and make a point, she succeeded, and got publicity, lots of it.

However what was not also reportedso widely, was that there were other equally important protests at the same time centering around cassava (tapioca) prices in Khantaralak (Si Saket) & Chantaburi in which large numbers of trucks blocked highways.

The farmers appear to want the government to guarantee higher prices in a down trending market.

Perhaps the government's 'rice pledging' plans are more fashionable than the same for tapioca? It remains to be seen whether the cassava farmers demands can and will be met.
