Just trying finalise last few snags before submit the visa.got a question about living arrangements since my mum remarried and moved out I live in her house but pay the bills but all bills are still in her name. Would a letter from her explaining the circumstances be the way forward?

I would say so, your bank statements will verify that you are paying the bills.

If as you say your mother writes a letter saying she has moved out but still owns the house and has no objections to your spouse/partner living with you.

Best to think if your spouse/partner is successfully then change the bills to both your names.

You should have the bills in your name , because you are the user, in theory you can walk away from paying them , your Mother would have to pay them .

U Thk could b a problem.also have one more query we plan to get married and submit the visa straight away will that count against us as they may think its too quick to apply for settlement?

Is it your mum's house ? Is her name on the Title Deeds? Or is it a council property, and she is subletting to you ?

If the Deeds show your mum's name, then you will need a letter from her explaining what the situation is, etc. If her family name on the Deeds is the same as your family name, then that might show that what you are saying is probably true, as there is a link. Do you have letters addressed to you at the property ? That will also show that you, on balance, stay at the house. There must be something that confirms that you live there - mobile phone contract, internet bills ? Tie the whole lot together with a letter of explanation from your mum.

Hi mate

Yes mate it's my mums house with my family name on the deeds as I used this when we got the 3 previous tourist visas.yes mate all my post comes to this address so I will do as you say.i do own my own property which I rent out do you think it's worth including this in my file,as I've owned the property for 4 yrs but never lived there.one last thing as I said before we plan to marry and submit the settlement visa hopefully in the same week do you think there would be any problem as we applying so soon after getting married

Thks again

I would include details of your property and the rent you receive as this forms part of your income.

There is no minimum time between marrying and submitting a spouse visa application.
