However, law, get over it ect.

Important is the outcome and when the Status Quo is now, longer opening times, so its better for most of the Party folk.

By the way, f..k Ting Tong laws. wai.gif

Unfortunately, the entertainment closing hours law was adopted in 2004. See thread: The next year they started not selling alcohol between 2 PM and 5 PM. It was written they said to prevent school children from buying alcohol after school. I guess they never heard of checking an ID card. Both of these brilliant laws were implemented under then PM Thaksin Shinawatra... But as I said earlier and you have reaffirmed, these laws (and many other) are selectively enforced. Enjoy it until the next "crackdown" starts up.

Thank you, but myself, I am not such a Disco Tiger with 50 y. but, my opinion is, a closing time of 2 AM in a Party city same Patong is to early.

And, if there are laws who say different, so the law is deffinitely wrong for that Party places in TH.

I am now in Udon Thani in the countryside and I am not informed what is going on in Patong.

Yeah i think for places that are specifically centered around people going to party it would be pretty disastrous for them to continuously enforce the 2am closing times. I expect that medium to long term it would be more damaging to tourism and businesses than all the other problems Thailand has seen in the last few years.
