Ok guys, I get the outrage, but any more personal attacks and I will do a lot more than simply delete posts.

I think a lot more filtering is needed by the moderators, there is way too much "Hang-em", "he'll get screwed in jail" and avocation of violence posts, lets have a serious discussion for a serious subject please.

have you ever been on the recieving end of one of these lowlifes? If you had you would certainly change your point of view and would not be campaigning for the freedoms and rights of pedophiles if you had. Do you want a serious discussion? Were you ever a 12 yr old boy who forcefully had the penis of your football coach shoved down your throat? Were you ever threatened by the coach who was the friend of the family that you would never play football again if you said anything and you would be beaten up by the team. Were you punished by your father for being rude to your coach when he attended a family function or punished because your school marks started dropping off after the rape. Have you ever felt the pain and anguish caused by one of these pigs? yes I will have a serious discission with you and yes I advocate for the hang them high policy. Walk a little in your victims shoes and then you may just understand a little.

The trouble is that the majority of Westerners, and I'm assuming that most on this forum are Westerners, either believe in a religion like Christianity, or are aetheist, both of which view this lifetime as the one and only one we get, the only chane we get.

Buddhism, with its belief in rebirth and an infinite past and future, sees this as just one more life in a continual cycle. Therefore a person who is abused in this lifetime...... has many other lifetimes where they are not abused........ and because nothing happens without cause, the law of karma, they have probably been abusers themselves in the past.

This is not to imply that we should just turn our back on them and say 'well, they deserved it', but we should still try to bring them relief from suffering. We should also have compassion for the abusers, who are creating future suffering for themselves.

So what you are saying is that abused children should just get over it and harden up and in the next life they can enjoy themselves as the abuser/child raping pedophile. You are saying that we should show compassion for pedophiles are you serious? What do you suggest that we do set up kiddie farms to breed young children so that pedophiles can feed to thier hearts content. You are saying that the babies and young children are the offenders are the poor helpless innocent pedophiles are the victims.

Those on here that are right behind peodophiles rights, and advocating for them be allowed to conduct thier activities of rape and sexual abuse of children should stop thinking about yourselves but what you are doing to the victims. How many people would be reading this forum who have been victims of these sexual predators? How insulting and hurting would your pro pedophile comments be to them? I think it would be like raping and abusing them all over again. Have a heart pedophiles and let victims heal.

Yes this one is actually real. Geoffrey Lenard is a serial pedophile and pro Pedophilia campaigner (Like some on here). He has written a book on how to seduce and molest children and wants the age of consent completely removed so there is no age limit. This nutcase is just one of the people that some on here are in total support of.

I would like to see the persons that offend, should have to be kept from re offending, A cure if that is the right word is difficult, maybe impossible, isolating the persons is the only way in my mind, not saying cannot live near a school--STUPID, if he wanted he will travel to where access is. OR controversial put them in a secure place with the same people who have offended.   give them porn in that place has been suggested. but isolation-sure.

getting back at them with some form of buggery is not the way-but it tends to get that reaction

A THIEF in Victoria has been praised for turning himself in so that police could catch an even bigger criminal.

The man, who can't be identified for legal reasons, stole two mobile phones in Ballarat, northwest of Melbourne, but turned up at the nearest police station when he saw one of the devices had images of child pornography.

While he was charged with theft by coming forward, his actions also allowed police to arrest and charge a 46-year-old man.

The thief won high praise from a magistrate and even the state's police chief this week when his own case came before the courts.

"I haven't seen anything quite like that and I commend the man for his admissions," Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Ken Lay told Fairfax Radio yesterday.

"It's a strange old world, isn't it, when it comes to the world of crime."

The man pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Ballarat Magistrates Court to breaking into a car and stealing the phones last October.

Defence lawyer Mike Wardell said his client showed real courage by incriminating himself in order to help police make a separate arrest.

"Notwithstanding his prior criminal history, the moral responsibility that he showed speaks volumes to the different side to his character," he told AAP yesterday.

Taking into account guilty pleas for other charges he was facing, the magistrate handed down an ultimate sentence of one month in jail and a $400 fine.

If the geezer is found GUILTY, throw away the key, rather than let a low paid prison counciler decide whether or not he is fit to re-join society. In jail there is no temptation for nonces, therefore no more children will have to suffer at his hands. All you pro pedo (anti hang em high posters) need to get a grip, maybe sit down with the family of a minor that has lost their innocence at the hands of a beast and realise the destruction that peadophiles can cause.

I agree wholeheartedly with this post but would like to add chemical castration to any paedophile's punishment.

Remove any sexual desire and this could cure them. And life in prison would remove all chances of them offending ever again..

There are some crimes that should follow what we have decided, through correctness, is socially accepted, as this is after all, like it or not, is a socially unacceptable crime (if he is found to be guilty).

Its only with the few nasty farangs that from my experience gets a kink out of children.. as for the Asians, I never encountered any pedophiles, but mostly sex abuse with a minor. All the same, whats wrong with these people? Where's the root? Education? Family?..

The root is most likely in the family, I had a great uncle who liked children, too much, he 'touched' every child in the extended family he could get his hands on, age wasn't an issue, when my grandmother, his sister was finally told about his activities she said "just like his father", its like a virus passed from one generation to the next, and it has to be treated early as possible in the victims life to minimise the risk of offending later in life, and its not just men who offend, there are very rare incidents of women offending, but no where near the incidents involving men.
