18 year old arrested for 2009 East Pattaya murder

PATTAYA: -- Banglamung Police have arrested an 18 year old man who is accused of committing murder in 2009. On the strength of arrest warrant number 153/2552 dated 29th October 2009,

Police arrested Khun Attasit at the Provincial Electric Authority offices in Central Pattaya where he is currently employed. According to the warrant he is accused of murdering Khun Satawat aged 30 on Highway 36, leading to Rayong Province, when he was only 15 years of age. The incident occurred at a Bus Stop and involved at least 4 people who were arguing.

The suspect is alleged to have picked up a rock and reportedly struck the victim over the head with it. Khun Attasit denies the allegations and claims he only watched the fight take place but did not get involved,
