Hello All

I was just wondering if anyone could help?, My wife and I are planning a 3 week holiday to canada in the summer she has a thai passport with a uk residence permit. Will she need to get a visa for canada? I can't get through to the canadian embassy in london any info would be great. Thanks

Permanent residents of the United States ("Green Card" holders) do not require a visa to travel to Canada, unfortunately the same does not apply to UK ILR holders. Your wife will require a Temporary Resident (Visitor) visa.

Unfortunately, that is correct about US green card, yet my wife, Canadian Immigrant, can’t travel to the US without a visa. UK immigrant does require a Temp Visa.
