OJAS
The downloadable form at http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/files/file/20-transfer-stamp-to-a-new-passport-form/ gives the impression that transfers of stamps to new passports can only be sanctioned by the Inspector of Sub-division 2, Bangkok Immigration. Does this mean that local immigration offices outside Bangkok are unable to effect such transfers, thus meaning that those of us who live outside Bangkok Immigration's catchment area will have to visit Chang Wattana for this purpose? Alternatively, if it is possible for non-Bangkokians to apply for such transfers at their local immigration office, will the office then need to send their old and new passports away to Bangkok to enable the Inspector of Sub-division 2 to do the necessary? gennisis
I am guessing that your downloaded form shows that it originaly came from Bangkok,I had used this at Chiang Mai immigration. The officer frowned and gave me their version. So I guess that whoever set up the download was based in Bangkok.
lopburi3
Actually it is more likely a case that only Bangkok had downloadable forms. You must do the process at the office your extension of stay is from AFAIK.
barryofthailand
To transfer such things as a one year extension or a re entry stamp to a new passport, their is no paper work required. Just bring your old and new passports to your local Immigration office and they will transfer the information free of charge. Barry
lopburi3
You must fill out a form and provide photo copies of both passports, visa, entry and arrival cards every time I have done it (several). And there have been many reports of small charge being made (possibly for the copies).

Theo007
I did mine at Jomtien, left the passport in the morning and collected it in the afternoon. Only problem was that they used THREE pages!
