Hello everyone

I hope someone can help I sent my application for ILR one month ago I sent the version 4/2011 of the form SET (M)

I founded out that was an update of the form ( 10/2011)

I'm now worry about if it can be a reason for refusal, the rest of the application is very complete .

I read about a lady who applied in person the 13 of January with the old version (04/2011)as well and the officer asked her :

_when did you fill this form ?

_some days ago

_that is what everybody said to me but that is the old version .

Then he gaved her the new version to fill ,finally they granted her the ILR

I wonder what can happen in my case as I applied by post could it be a reason for refusal if the rest of the application is fine ?

Not sure but I doubt you can be refused on those grounds alone. It may delay things but it might be worth getting the new form prepared in advance! It may be worth contacting them and sending in the new form. I very much doubt they have got anywhere close to processing it yet!

We have been waiting nearly 17 weeks for my wife and daughters ILR to be processed and this should be a very straight forward application. The UKBA at Croydon really are a bit of a disgrace.

About £1500 for the application to sit in a pile. In the meantime no foreign travel and most employers will not take on someone without seeing and copying their passports so for some applicants no job either.

95% processed within 6 months. More like 90% collecting dust for months!

My friend did the same they returned there application to correct there mistake, they just applied again on the new up to date forms it has happened many times, also they did not take the application fee.

also if you hear nothing in the first few weeks usually they're processing the application, they only contact you if you/they have a problem with your application, its a case of no news is good news.
