Electric Appliance Repair

Recommended Posts

Do it yourself.

Open it up (make sure it is not plugged in)

Put a dot of oil on both brushes and turn manually a couple of times.

If you can get access to the switch then clean the contact with white spirit.

The salt air increases oxidisation.

Reassemble and give it a go.

If that doesn't work then chances are the coil is trashed and it will be cheaper to buy another one.
