AleG
Chalerm is such a worm that not even the vocal TV red shirt Thaksin lovers will defend him. That should tell you something. The pathetic thing is that since before the election it was clear who was going to be the PTPs electable figurehead and who would actually run the government. Support for PTP is support for (acting) PM Chalerm; Yingluck is mostly for PR. She's the face, but to see how the government operates and stands for, look at Chalerm. Red Shirt Leaders will not be permitted Government Employ as Ministers - Thaksin quote in Thailand Guard - 14/08/1994. ---------------- Chalerm or Calorie count for fat bank bastards? -mel. :$
KeyserSoze01
He said he will invite rental home and apartment owners to meet the police to ask for their cooperation on information about dubious foreign tenants. No one has picked up on this final line in the OP. I would dare say there are many foreigners in Thailand that fit this description. Piss of your landlord and the next thing you know, you become a person of interest to the BiB. Not a good thing and could get quite expensive. PoodMaiDai
This guy gets dumber by the press release. And when it happens again, what will this jack bum say then? He reminds me of Baghdad Bob saying everything was fine as US troops entered the city taking control of it.

Next thing you know the Thais will be invoking their own version of Homeland Security. Mind you they already have that other law............
