Not really easy to pinpoint this as there are actually many many places in Pattaya. Along Sukhumvit just south of Pattaya there are a few places that sell all the typical ponds, garden figurines, plants, trees etc. Most of them have all that stuff.

Also starting after about 3 kilometers from Sukhumvit on Soi Siam Country Club (SSCC) you will find many of the same places. All good really.

I have been knows to throw the odd rock and various other items in my truck before by river beds etc. etc. however don't get caught.

Also many people do not know but even if you are building a pond etc. on your own property don't get caught.

This is a pond/fish-tank etc. that I had some Contractors build at my place before. I bought the picture for 2,500 baht and the contractors did all the work including pumps, drains etc and even small rounded/flat rocks at the base for 25k.

Just a cautionary tale gregj69 coconut palms when you put them in start at 1meter and in no time at all they are 10 meters, cutting off the fronds and spraying them for coconut beetle then becomes very difficult indeed, they are also difficult to dig out of the ground when you decide to get rid of them as some of them measure over 18" across the trunk and the bowl can weigh upwards of one ton.

We just dug out 42 of them and its a lot of hard work.

Stick to Foxtails and Fishtails they are much more manageable and look nicer without all the hassle

We have found some 2 -3 metre ones just 100mtrs down the road but have to dig them out and transport them up to my place. Have asked heaps of people and have had no luck finding some workers to dig them and a tractor or truck to transport.

Who did you use to move yours?

Do want some foxtails and fishtails as well.

Cheers

Lovetotravel, Who did you get to build it, looks good. How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

Rimmer; I found some 2-3 mtr coconut palms 100 mtrs down from my place but no-one seems to know any workers to dig out or have a tractor or truck to dig them out. Are the guys you used still around and were they dear.

Wher are you situated? Would you happen to know someone to dig them out and deliver them to Huay Yai? Am interested. Pls PM me with contact details.
