Anyone here with UBC know if there are any "free" channels on there that do not require the simm-card to be in place ?

I'm thinking of adding a DVB tuner to my pc - but there is no provision for a card.

not sure, but the Thai TV channels may be free.

A 'free to air' receiver gets all the Thai channels and the DLTV (distance learning I think) stuff.

Everything else is scrambled.
