I'm pretty sure it would be 011 66 6 nnn-nnnn, but yes, you do drop that leading zero when calling from outside Thailand.

Some mobile operators in the U.S.A., TMobile, process + 66 6 nnn-nnnn.

011 66 6 xxx-xxxx
