Goods Transport From C/M

I'm looking for a lead to atransport company who does regular trips to Phuket..

Have to transport a click and 4-5 boxes of stuff..about 10 k's weight per box...to Phuket for family.

Anyone know of and/or used such company please?

Greenline runs a daily bus, from Chiang Mai (Arcade) to Phuket, I'd assume that they have a light-cargo service too ?

An Alternative. Thai Post are inexpensive, reliable and can be door-to-door. They even ship motorcycles.

Good and cheep really are not the same thing.

One pays for good service and safety as well as are the things insured by the transporter ?

Thanks for info so far..and yes Jeff. i agree with you, but there are occasions that the high price is not justified...insurance cover and a fair price to do the job is all thats required...thats where word of mouth is a valuble aid...thanks

I've been today to EXCEL logistics in Riverside condo .....their price is good and door to door..., but i have just been informed that are are 'not so good''..any info or anyone used them?

we used them to move from Phuket to C.M, all personal possesions cost about 2500bt and we sent motorbike for 2500bt also.

they have offices in all major centres, i think there is walk in office near Waroros market here.

good, reliable and reputable and insured....

also use the same company to bring my ordered goods maybe 10kg boxes from bkk every couple months, costs us about 30bt when they deliver, paid to driver.

but have to say, i am surprised at what the post office deliver here....first time i went to a PO in phuket i was in the queue behind 2 motorbikes, a fridge and a giant teddy... hats off to them!!
