Car Care Center Vehicle Theft operation shutdown by Sattahip Police

SATTAHIP:-- Sattahip Police have arrested the owner and a worker of a Car Care Center who copied the keys to customer’s vehicles and later stole them.

Police Colonel Pagon, Deputy Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police led a press conference at the front of Sattahip Police Station on Thursday to announce the arrest of Khun Wirayoot aged 27 and Khun Paratorn aged 24 who worked together to steal the vehicles.

The pair revealed that the vehicles would be left at their Car Care Center in Baan Chang and they would take an impression of the key and then produce a copy. After the vehicle was clean and the owner drove away from the Center, they would be followed back to their residence and later in the night, the vehicle would be stolen. The pair would steal-to-order and would often send them across the border to Burma and Cambodia where they would be sold.

Truly amazing! Am pleased that my car is 20 years old and not worth stealing except by a museum.
