blossombkk
Hi Guys, Does anybody know of a place people can come and meditate as they wish (different hours of the day) around Srinakarindra, Hua mak, bangkapi or maybe even Sukomvit and asok? I would appreciate any info Thanks
rockyysdt
Little Bang is in your vicinity. http://www.littlebang.org/?page_id=
orchis
Please note that Little Bang is on "semi-hiatus" and while it still averages one dharma talk a month (various locations), there has not been a regular weekly meditation activity for a long time now. Wat Phatum Wanaram next to Siam Paragon has a meditation hall towards the back of the grounds where you can sit and meditate at ease.
blossombkk
thank you guys. can you come and go as you are pleased? or do you have to attend for a whole session?
orchis
There is no formal session at w. Pathum Wanaram. Just people sitting, coming and going. Quite a big hall and some (Thai-speaking) volunteers at hand. If you need instruction a good place is Wat Mahathat Section 5 although this is not in of the locations you look for. There is also a weekly shamabala meditation (Sathorn area). Good luck.

Yes and a person will be surprised how quite and peacefull it is back there. If you ask, you normally will find a Thai monk there that does speak English. A little. And yes you can come and go as you please.
Jawnie
You would need a Thai person who is plugged into these things in order to find many. In any case, strictly Thai events would probably be in Thai language and not in a format you'd be familiar with. As someone already mentioned, Bangkok Shambala has weekly/bi-weekly meditations if the Tibetan approach works for you. If you are on Facebook search for Bangkok Shambala. On FB also search for Mongkol Sri. It is a Tibetan group also which regularly sponsors Tibetan masters and occasional Theravada masters.
