Question.Anyone Flown On Any A380 From Lhr To Bkk How Long Did You Wait For Your Luggage Being The Size It Is Just Asking

Featured Replies

As above

I am not sure any airline flies the A380 LHR to BKK direct. Think you would have to go Emirates via Dubai. Waiting time is not much different.

i flown on it several times into BKK, not from london , i use manchester. but all the times if have used it the luggage was waiting before i cleared immigration . about 100 hundred more passenger with Emirates configuration over a jumbo, so thrown in with other the other arrivals no difference.

As the A380 usually has the last stand far from the terminal in BKK and LHR so by the time you do the walk and immigration it is there. The only A380 is from Dubai/HKG, otherwise A380 to Dubai/Singapore

I have travelled many times between London and BKK on the A380 and the only problem I had was on the 5th Feb at BKK when immigration was so busy by the time I got through the belt delivering the luggage had stopped as there was to many bags and nobody picking them up.

Similar to above; immigration was so slow our baggage had been taken off the belt.

Fly the A380 every 2 months from Dubai (work) to Thailand (home). Have never waited more than 15 minutes for luggage - as others have said, by the time you walk from the plane and clear Immigration...the luggage is already coming out or just a short wait.
