Noise From The Spice!

Featured Replies

it would be nice to find an alternative to Le Spicy that is not a huge club full of noise and Thais hugging a bottle of 100 pipers between 10 of them after 2am - there is little choice apart from the obvious ones pointed out already (i.e. 'clubby' places with a very young crowd)

Jacky Van, next door to where the old Spicy was.

Points for recognizing that as a mild jab.

If you google this joint you'll find listings in TripAdvisor, Lonely Planet, etc. You could try complaining to them, post negative reviews, talk about community disruption etc if this place becomes a recognized problem to commercial websites they may begin to shun them. There are also a lot of locally produced websites that may take up the cause as well. Worth a shot.

Yeh you can post that theres some kind of weird viral infection that people contract after going to spicy....testicles start falling off etc... :)

my fav. guest house was behind Spicy for some years, and they had a lot of negative comments made on the Internet and it was really hurting their business.

Fortunately, Spicy moved and the reviews have been re-written, the customers have returned. Bad luck really for the new owners. Isn't there a nice vacant block a few km out of town???
