Hb-Fnw On A Stopover In Cnx On March 9 On Its Way To Indonesia

Featured Replies

This post might interest some aviation enthusiasts in Chiang Mai. 2 pilots started today on a 22 leg journey from Buochs/Switzerland to Jayapura in Indonesia, delivering a brand new Swiss made Single engine Pilatus Porter. The guys will touch down at Chiang Mai Airport on March 9 coming from Chittagong.

This would be interesting for any plane spotter(s) to take some good shots during final, taxiing and take-off the next morning to Krabi. Here is the website with their "flight plan" for anyone interested.

Please be so kind and let me know if anyone is going to take pictures. Thank you.

Update on March 8 @ 18:36 local Thai time: ETA Chiang Mai is now 14:15 Thai time, plane coming from Chittagong via Mandalay. Would be nice to have at least someone making some pictures of the plane coming in! These kind of journeys half way around the world in a single prop don't happen very often anymore.
