Dr. Surapong commented on a report that the opposition is gathering information for a no-confidence debate against the government on May 2006, saying that it is a normal duty of the opposition in democratic society. He expressed hope that this time, the debates will be carried out constructively for scrutinizing wrongdoers, adding that the government is not worried about the move as it has been working transparently.

As for reports that the opposition will include information from media mogul Sondhi Limthorgkul’s (สนธิ ลิ้มทองกุล) in the debate, the Government Spokesperson said that the Opposition is entitled to use any information from any party in the no-confidence debate, and not just Mr. Sondhi’s
