DSI raid 5 South Pattaya shops secretly storing counterfeit branded goods

PATTAYA:--Five shops located inside the Pattaya City Walk Complex, next to the Royal Garden Plaza were raided by officers from the Department of Special Investigations (DSI) on Wednesday Night.

Khun Powit, Director of the DSI, Eastern Branch led the raid of the shops which were known to be storing branded counterfeit items.

Secret doors and walls were seen in each of the shops which revealed the stock rooms full of handbags, sunglasses and other items featuring brand names such as Louis Vuitton and Prada. Seven people were arrested during the operation who all claimed to be employees and knew nothing of the secret store rooms.

Didn't this area get raided a couple of weeks back?

I like how the article mentions that the Pattaya City Walk Complex is next to the Royal Garden Plaza. Lots of people never walk down this path.
