March 4, 201214 yr With Songkran just around the corner, I'm interested in finding a schedule of activities for that long weekend. I have guests coming in from out of town, and I promised them an "interesting" time. I'd love to know what is happening around town during Songkran. Does anyone know where a schedule is posted? Thanks!
March 4, 201214 yr It's guaranteed to be interesting. Anyway, the schedule will only be finalized and then published shortly before the holiday. Local media and the tourist office will publish it; there are many parades and religious ceremonies, usually in the mornings. And then water fun in the afternoons, of course. But for planning purposes and what to expect, here is the list from last year. You can expect something very similar for this year, but you're a bit early. http://www.tatnews.org/events/events/2011/april/5406.asp Edited March 4, 201214 yr by WinnieTheKhwai
