Does anybody have any reviews on SpeedNavi GPS maps? what is the difference between version 3 and 4 (besides price).

I currently run a in dash dvd/gps player in my Toyota vios - bought via China a while ago? runs with Sygic gps map on mini SD card! great map but i cannot get any up dates? only though original supplier. (nameless) but lazy to up date, my map.

Spoken many times with Sygic, they cannot supply me? disapointment i must say (great map- where else can i get a new version and save mage bucks) for my current gps player/ otherwise i would not change my system. Can you convert a mobile map, etc?

Ok/. i am going to change over next week to a new Zulex player! with SpeedNavi map? and just wonder how good?.

split map, junction views seems better!

Before i spend maga bucks again, i want to make sure it is the best, system i can run, in my in dash vios player.

Come on any ideas! suggestions would help me finally make up my mind, for sure.

see attached picture, my current, system (i will put up for sale shortly) works great! only difference is Pattaya road extension i can see.

SpeedNavi are good maps. THey update regularly. You get one years free update and then it is round 900baht a year. Version 3 works on older machines...version 4 on newer. I think the difference is the things the machine supports.; What functions you get are partly device dependent.

I would make sure. 4 only runs on newer gear. I am worried my unit which uses 3 ( which is currently the same map) will not be updated for much longer and I will then be left with non updateable maps.

Thank you for your interesting. PR-VS08(G) have 2 model : Speed Navi Version 3.0 and Speed Navi Version 4.0.

But you don't worry because you can upgrade map version 4.0 to PR-VS08(G)

I will double check next week when i go into Zulex and make sure, i can run both, or its the units they sell different. I have also e-mailed SpeedNavi, to ask them about changes and how long they will run version 3. See if i get a reply? from them.
