Hello everybody I hope someone can help with the following question

I applied for ILR SET ( M) I added my 14 years old kid as dependant but later on I realised the day I posted the application was one day before his visa expires and they got it 5 days after due to bank holidays ! and the more suspicious is after 9 weeks they just took the payment for my ILR application and no for his .

Someone has any idea what consequences it can have ?

I'm a fool I tought his visa and mine expires at the same time .

Children under 16 do not be charged for overstay, im not an expert but my daughter has overstayed a couple of times, feel free to correct me anyone.

Don't panic, it's the date of postage that is considered to be the date of application.

Do you have proof of postage should something go wrong with the applications?

Hello yes I have the proof of the postage but they dont know I sent it while the visa was valid as they got it 5 days later I will keep the ticket in case I have to go to appeal many many thanks for the advices

Youll be fine mate. Sent my wife's flr o of with 1 day to go until her visa expired. It is the date of postage that counts and not the date that they receive the application.
