Man caught with gun in North Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A 21 year old man was caught with a gun by Pattaya Police Officers on routine patrol in North Pattaya.

Officers spotted the man on his motorbike in front of Soi 2 on Pattaya Second Road and decided to stop and search him. The search uncovered a handgun with bullets in a case concealed in the seat compartment of the bike which led to his arrest.

Khun Prichar was taken to Pattaya Police Station where he went into some form of shock which led to Police contacting the Rescue Service who attended to Khun Prichar who eventually recovered enough to be formally charged with possession of a firearm in a public place. Although the gun did have a license in the name of his Mother, Khun Prichar was not a registered user of the weapon and was therefore charged.
