hello we were succesfull with a family vistor visa we said my wife would stay in england for 1 month but she stayed for five months and it was a big change but our plans changed do you think this will have a effect with another vistor visa when we apply again in a few months

"The Embassy will ask the applicant how long they intend to remain in the UK. If the answer is β€˜one month’ they will still normally issue a six month visa. If the applicant stays longer than a month this will severely jeopardize any future visa applications and they will normally be refused."

Says it all really. Stupid rule but there you go. Thailand doesn't have a monopoly on screwed up immigration rules...

Is that a quote ? If so, who said it, or wrote it ? It's not strictly true, and it certainly isn't a rule.
