Greenside gets my nod as well.

But if you're on a budget or want a Thai aestheitc, my friend Au (prounced like 'oo' in 'food,' though you'd think otherwise....) is who I usually call. I do webcopy and so when a project needs a photo guy, he's my goto person. Likewise he calls me when his people need a writer. He's done a ton of big n small porjects and events all around town, but is still humble and the nicest guy. His Eng is good, his equipment and work ethic are great too.

I always forget what his website, but he'll point you to it to see examples of his work.

There are lots of good photographers, but it really depends on what you are looking for. Technical stuff is a far cry from landscapes, wedding or portrait photography. However, Greensides would probably point you in the right direction if he couldn't do the stuff himself.

There are scores of good photographers in Chiang Mai but, as Ian says, it all depends what you are trying to achieve. You are welcome to PM me or come along to one of the Chiang Mai Photographic Group Meetings where someone is sure to be able to point you in the right direction.

It's true, that depends on what you mean by good Photographers.

I know people who hold DSLR camera that take pretty decent Photos...... but most of the Photos are good to see after Photoshop editing.
