Just wondering if it is possible?

I have my own Thai LTD company and have had it for several years. Next month I will need to do my 1 year extension of my Non B that I normally do at immigration in Pattaya. I don't really need the work permit as my staff and manager are quite capable and I leave thailand for several months of the year anyway. I just don't see the need to pay the monthly taxes of about 6,000 baht for it if I don't have to.

It seems the work permit is what allows you to extend - so if you do not intend to use it for that reason it would not be needed (if indeed you are not doing any work).
