Panic at Pattaya Condo Danish Couple Flee Kitchen Fire

PATTAYA:--A luxury condominium catches fire at night, a Danish couple flee for their lives. The police assumes they forgot but forgot to turn on the ventilation fan in the kitchen.

PATTAYA – March 18,2012 [PDN]; Pol.Lt.Col. Pumipat Namputtra- Pattaya police station was notified about a fire at a Jomtien Beach Residence: 344/16-72 in Chomtian beach, Soi 9, Banglamung

At the scene of the incident a seven story condominium where the fire was located in room # 410 on the the 3 rd floor.Thick smoke coming out from the terrace caused the condominium dwellers to panic.They all packed their belongings and carried their children out of the building.

So the fire originated IN the ventalation fan or was caused by not turning it on? Faulty electric fan or dirty greasy grimy non-cleaned vent?

I would tend toward saying it was due to the couple passing out before making sure the fan/burners were turned OFF not ON. If they would have checked before they went to bed guess what.....no fire.
