My wife and I will be going to Ko Phi Phi the first part of april, as I have not been there I would like some feed back on where to stay. We would like something on the beach but not remote, up to 4000 bht.

There are nicer places with better priced accommodation. Try Koh Racha.

Or any of these...

smokie36 you are just referring to Phi Phi Don Village, yes? Because the other parts of Phi Phi, which are remote, are pretty beautiful.

I agree though, Phi Phi Don Village is a dump, but it sounds like the OP, needs a little nightlife with the wife and is completely understandable.

Phi Phi The Beach Resort at Long Beach has these cool wooden bungalow type rooms on the hillside where you have a deck with a view. From there it's a 5 minute longtail boat into Phi Phi Don Village. Close enough for nightlife, far enough from the mess.

Yeah to be fair there are nice spots but in my opinion better options out there, that's all I was trying to convey.

Understood and agree. But it seems like the OP is after Phi Phi info, plus a place with a little action. Koh Racha has no action, thats for sure !!

I'd choose the ice cream shop on Racha over night time action any day.

Well most days anyway. tongue.png
