Student Visa Application Refusal

Featured Replies

Dear all

To apply student visa I have to apply outside Thailand

Can I apply student visa at other than my country embassy / consulate ?

For example : a Korean wishing to study Thai wants to apply student visa (ED Visa ) at Malaysia because the ticket from BKK to Kuala Lumpur is much cheaper than BKK- Seoul

How much do I have to show to Thai Embassy/Consulate Officer to study Thai language in Bangkok for 6 months ?

Is there interview at embassy /consulate ?

I want to those who have ED visa application experience

For example, an Australian who appliied ED visa at Thai Embassy/ Consulates in Cambodia/ Malaysia/ Vietnam instead of at Australia

Is there Student visa application refusal (ED Visa ) ?

Many thanks

your topic suggest your application of a student visa was refused

I think that the school that you want to use, should give you some papers so you can apply for the proper visa.

All non immigrant visas require 20k baht to be shown if requested - often it is not asked. Yes you can use a Consulate in Malaysia but you will have to have the required school paperwork and visa will not allow more than a 90 day entry (you would have to extend to stay longer).
