Have 65K+Income From Investment.Get Retirmentvisa?

If i have a income for 65k + every month lets say from what ever ex investment offshore or renting out a property,or similar.All from Eu.NOT from Thailand,Into my thaibank bank every month.Can I get a retirmentvisa on basis of 65k.Im 50+

Do I have to show from what the money coming from?

It will be whatever your Embassy accepts as proof of income.

They supply the letter you need to show Immigration.

LiteBeer has it right...as he usually does. If the U.S. embessy (using them as an example) accepts your information as resonable, they will issue that letter.

However, and I mention this only because I saw it happen, the U.S, embessy does not gaurentee that the information you provide them is true, the letter they provide merely says that information is what you supplied them...it does NOT certify accuracy or truth of that information.

I saw it happen last year when I had some extra pages put into my U.S. passport.

There was an American guy there screming profanities at the embessy staff.

Everyone in the waiting room then clearly heard his complaint. It seems he got a income letter from the embessy for his retirement visa and took it to immigration. Immigration questioned some of the financial claims that he made and wanted further proof. He wanted the U.S. embesy to tell immigration that the information he gave the embessy was true, and Thai immigration must accept his financial info. Of course, the embessy doesn't and can't do that.

He ended up by being escorted out of the embessy by two Thai security gaurds and one very big U.S. Marine gaurd.

Just to make it clear though, the income letter you get from the embessy may or may not be questioned by Thai immigration.

If they do question it, that letter is NOT gaurenteed by the U.S. embessy...it's just signifies that information is what you TOLD them at the time.

That embessy income statement (letter) is NOT gaurenteed to be the truth.

The Embassy will only issue an "affidavit", legalizing your signature.

For income statements, you have to use the forms, issued by immigration accompanied with sufficient proof (sometimes translated into Thai)

Never heard of this.

Immigration accepts income statements. Some embassies only make an affadavid and do not check if the information is correct. Because of this, sometimes immirgation asks for additional proof of income.

At the US Consulate in Chiang Mai I submitted my application with amount on form and then was asked to raise my right hand and swear that it was true and accurate. I submitted letter to immigration and it was excepted but I did have proof of deposit into my banking account of the amounts shown on the form, if it was asked for.

The Canadian Embassy requires proof of your income - bank statements, Western Union transfer, whatever the source. As well as the embassy requires your sworn affidavit attesting to your income. They provide the affidavit and will swear it for a small fee. Then the Embassy provides a letter confirming that information - sworn affidavit and the fact they have reviewed the supporting docs. I have never had a problem with the Phuket Immigration office utilizing that letter except that the Embassy letter is confirming income in Cdn dollars while Immigration needs that info in Thai baht. The Phuket "concierge" dudes do the conversion for me based on my iPhone's currency converter and there has never been a problem. Remember, if you draw funds as I do from a Canadian bank account, you may need to provide a photocopy of your bank ATM card. I think each Immigration office has their own rules but in Phuket they are very easy to deal with.

ok guys thanks a lot.well i can in some way show proof by showing the latest years transactions were it shows more then the 65k a month but I guess I have to chat with my embassy.
