Three arrested following necklace snatch in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Three men, thought to be part of a gang who steal bags and necklaces to raise funds to purchase drugs have been arrested by Banglamung Police.

They are thought to be members of the same gang involved in the shooting earlier in the week where a 16 year old boy was shot dead and four other members of the same gang were arrested and charged over the murder. The incident on Thursday evening began in Soi Kao Ta Low where a gold necklace belonging to Khun Wanisar aged 23 was snatched from around her neck as she drove her motorbike.

The victim managed to summon the assistance of Police however the men were able to escape. Locals were able to direct Police to a rented room further up the street where the men were suspected of living and a subsequent raid of the room led to the arrest of three of the suspects,
