Roadman
Wouldn't be a bad thing having the Pound out of the picture...would make the Aussie and Kiwi $ better value, as the Aussies and Kiwis themselves are now. Popular Post Pseudolus
More pictures please, to illustrate the sad plight of these Thai ladies, and their soon-to-be-faulty ATMs ! The ladies will survive; the minority depending upon these chaps will go back to their meng dahs and the local market. It's these poor souls I feel sorry for. Police in Pattaya watch the breaking news on the BBC in shock and despondency . Captain Somchai in somber mood forces his mia noi to sell the gold he gave her, bought with on-site traffic fines. Police block roads to airport in a break away coup to protect their earnings. Eligible bachelor Bert Dingleberry is informed that he needs to move out of his 4m baht condo by his GFs family. Pseudolus
I think the law only applies to Men. It is also being considered for UK female pensioners in Africa and the Caribbean which gets considerably more attract to the blue rinse brigade once they learn how to dislocate their hip at will to be more accommodating. theblether
To be fair, it's a plan I do support. It means that there would be a mass exodus from Isaan, and all of us young guys can pick up you're hot Hi-So Thai / Chinese wives. The added benefit of not having to build a house for them ( as you guys have done it already ) makes the proposition even more attractive. Right, I'm going to start an e-petition. macksview
if uk oap's benefits stop, the issan mia farangs, will cause political tensions we havent seen the like of, maybe the puppet master will return home and galvanise the ex-bargirl mia farangs, he could march them down from udon thani onto roi et, kalasin, etc, the million wh*re march.. the economy of issan and pattaya will collapse, the people will look for a leader, uk oap forming roadblocks in nana plaza, its a recipe for disaster. exeter
According to the teelgraph, a later clarification statement from Whitehall stated that this sort of behaviour is not a benefit in kind and certainly not covered by NI contributions, nor does sharing a bed with a local lady constitute "heating allowance" Any of this sort of benefits or allowances will handled on a case by case situation. None of this affects your statutory rights in any way. Uk pensioners can carry on as usual, they dont know what they are missing!
Bagwan
The thought of all the UK pensioners returning to the UK would terrify the Government. State pension increases payable to current levels, crowds at NHS hospitals demanding free treatment, medication bills going through the roof, having to provide suitable accommodation, winter heating, Xmas bonus, we old buggars waving our free passes taking up all the seats on buses. The joke was too easily seen through.
