I will be going tomorrow for a 30 day extension on my tourist visa. I am currently living near Phra Ram 9 MRT, is Chaeng Wattana office the closest one to my location? If yes, I saw a train station close to it, where do I take the train for going there?

BTW, should I go in the morning or afternoon? I would like to avoid long queues if possible ;-)

Go early, get to Mor Chit and take a taxi from there, thats the easiest way. If you look thru this thread there are posts about how to get there and various means to do that

I actually did a search but I guess I was stupid about not seeing this post with the train schedule and numbers from Hua Lampong :-P

I just take a taxie, Form the Asok area it is around 165 to 180 baht plus toll road fees. It has never taken me more than 40 mins going and 45 mins coming back.
