Which is the best market / shopping centre to get T shirts and Polo shirts from in Bangkok ?

I am on Samui most of the time and the prices here can be abit over the top. So just want to stock up with t shirts, polo shirts and shorts for myself while i am in Bangkok for a couple of days

The shirts and shorts i am talking about are just the normal ones you see in tourist shops .. stuff like that

Thanks :)

Platinum Wholesale market/building if you are buying 3 or more items from each shop. This is where a lot of stuff sold in tourist markets come from.

MBK has a lot of the same stuff as above with tourist price although with the rent price now at Platinum it's not as cheap as it was.

Paragon, Emporium, Central world, centrals other branches every other shopping mall if you want western brand or high street stuff.

Tesco/lotus have a lot. Big ones in Bangkok have a reasonable choice.

Or go to a town like Chonburi or other similar near Bangkok and buy at the local markets without the tourist price. probably cheaper than Bangkok.

Maybe try the market at On Nut (Ohn Nuch) BTS it maybe cheaper than central BK places, but I've never shopped there.

Edit: A lot of the stuff in Platinum is Thai sizes so the choice can be limited for a foreigner, but it's so big they've probably got what you want. Personally the place is one of my worst nightmares.

TescoLotus-which also has a shop on Samui. And they have the same prices in all their shops-T-tourist shirts from 89 bt each. Polo's with a collar are indeed better-as the collar protects a little from burning sun. the bette'/cheaper 9if you know how to) clothes market is at Bobae-along the canal.

Be aware that a lot of the tee shirts claim they are pure cotton but are synthetic mixes which don't work so well in humid climates.

T-shirts and polo necks in Paragon are made in the same factories as the Tesco ones, just with a different label sewn on and a price tag 10 times higher.

That maybe the case for several items but most unlikely for most and even if true it comes down to the material, pattern and the cut and the quality of the garment when sewed together...good sense should tell you that.

Maybe you have not noticed how much better certain brands fit and sit and FEEL on yourself, were not all alike but certainly when it comes to clothing there are differences in quality and price, im not a hiso but i prefer to spend 700 for a plain fox tshirt like the one i bought today to 150 off the street heavy copy of whatever, the new tshirt is light, cool to wear and fits like a me very well.

About 5 years ago i paid $AU110 for a plain black Hugo Boss tshirt, it feels fantastic sits very well on me and still looks like the day i bough it.
