I know the Vigo has been out for over 6 years (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm thinking of buying a new Vigo. I've heard from a few forum that there's a completely new Hilux replacement by the code nam IMV2 but that's coming out in 2014.

Or Am I totally confused by the Vigo Hilux thing, what's the difference between the Hilux and Vigo? thanks.

The new model Hilux is due soon, 2014 sounds right.

A Hilux is a Vigo.

The biggest change I expect is that all the safety options that are curently only available on the top of the range 4x4 will be included as standard on the base models. This is a must to bring it into line with the newer ranger and triton.
