Most People Support Ban On Alcohol Sales During Songkran: NIDA Poll

Featured Replies

Does the poll actually say people favor a ban on alcohol sales or are the simply stating the obvious ... that a ban would decrease accidents and fights?

86 percent of the respondents view a ban on liquor sales as a way of reducing road accidents and brawls during the Songkran festival.

I wonder the stats if this poll was done on farangs, or villagers from Esan?

-mel.

Stupid Thread in my opinion, pols-what polls--we keep getting bombarded with this and that poll....they are the most far from reality polls I have ever come across.  As we have said so many times it's also the other days in the year we should be concerned with.  But never mind those deaths due to alcohol. What Bul##it these polls and bans are.

Example lets ban booze in England over the xmas and new year. same same but different.

Had a Psychology instructor once who said to get a degree in statistics he needed 5 years of collage.
