I would appreciate it ,if a member could recommend a good reasonably priced Hotel in Rayong,second week in May.

If you want something in the city itself, have a look at the Star Hotel. It's a while since we stayed there, but it was reasonably comfortable, pretty deserted during the evening. It's tacked onto an IT centre which is worth looking round, and there are market- and food-stalls just outside, other facilities not far away.

If you just want the Rayong area, the Phala Cliff Beach Hotel is good - nice rooms with sea views. But you need transport if you stay there.

My personal favorite is Rayong Resort. I had my mother stay there when she came for my wedding. Great place.

Yah, Rayong Resort is pretty nice. Stayed in the bungalows next to the water which were a bit on the high side, never tried a regular room in the main hotel building, which I think were less expensive.
