Ever since I came in (necessary)contact with police and immigration officers there always seemed to be a gap between the 2.

Questions asked and answered by RTP are totally ignored by RTI officers.and vica versa

Example's (a few)

A while ago i needed a attesta de vitea (proof of being alive)

Apart from any lawyer on the corner i wanted to know if Immigration could provide me with a stamp and signature.

They refused right away and i was send to the policestation, were i was treated like a selfconfessing criminal with all the jokes refering to immigration.(mind you i speak rather decent thai)

Only yesterday i was at NK immigration office and was asked by the handling officer if I could make any sence out of a rather bewildered foreign oldtimer, intoxicated,he presented a stamped an sealed ridiculous statement for the Immigration Police from the RTP, in were he had stated that he reported a serious crime but couldnt talk about it, still the RTP insisted this poor man to get "the matter" resolved by immigration police.

I had the strongest impression that the man was not more than a practicle joke for the RTP for the RTI police.

After bursting into tears he was send away to the next (pracitcle joke) station, at the border.(police)

I would like to know if there are other members who had, have the same experience as me.
