Good evening!

Just need some advice on our situation.

My family and I (UK and AUST citizens) arrived in Phuket on a 60 day visa in mid January this year.

Since then, we have left the country (after the 60 days) for weekends and then come back so we can stay for another 30 days at a time.

We depart in mid June.

We are seriously considering coming back to Phuket again from mid August until mid December. Would you consider applying for another 60 day visa prior to coming back and use the same strategy as we are currently using for the remainder of our trip or would you receommend another strategy?

I just would hate to be denied trying to get into the country after a weekend away in another country?

Regards

Why not consider applying for a double entry Tourist Visa, each entry valid for 60 days, and each entry can be extended for 30 days for 1900 Baht.

Hi Beechguy,

Regarding the double entry visa, do you have to be out of the country (Thailand) to apply for this?

Yes. Any embassy or some consulates foe a quick turnaround

Thank you!

As we have been in the country for 5.5 months this year before applying for this type of visa, will this have an impact on applying for a multiple entry visa?

Are you leaving in June to home country(s) or not? If yes a two entry should not be an issue to obtain for your August return. At a local area Consulate it could be problematic; but may be available.
