April 19, 201214 yr With the huge push to get more qualified, expert, foreign language teaching positions filled throughout the education realm, is the Labor Dept. folks bending a bit to let currently employed teachers, take on smaller two-hour per day gigs, teaching foreign languages? I know it can be done under the table, but that does leave open the possibility of a can of worms, later. The only thing I can glean from this forum is from a post several years back, with the main employer, (university in my case) agreeing to another job being signed on to the current work permit. Has anyone encountered this, yet? I have been asked by three different primary and secondary schools to come in and teach for two hours per week and they are paying for it. I am talking about qualified teachers, native speakers with at least a Masters Degree, not some tourist. Please advise. ett
April 19, 201214 yr With approval of the first employer you can add employers to the work permit. That is the only way.
April 19, 201214 yr Author Thanks Mario.... I guess what I had read regarding this earlier, stands. I will see what the university says about it. Thanks again....ett
